Survivorpedia, rain collector, skin wetness, baking bread
X-Survivor » Devlog
Updates since the last devlog message:
- Added "Survivorpedia" which is a guide to the basics of the game. It is still far from complete and I plan to add more in the future. Let me know if you would like a specific topic or detail to be added. Press H to access "Survivorpedia" from the main game screen.
- Keys for diagonal movement should now be working.
- Certain containers can now be used to collect rain water. Simply (a)ctivate them on the ground outside to start/stop collecting rain water.
- Removed a bug where item weights below 1 would be rounded down to 0, causing issues when calculating heat loss. This in turn resulted in corrupted save files.
- A crash would occur when trying to repair an item. This has now been fixed.
- The game now tracks skin wetness (caused by sweating, wearing wet clothing, being exposed to rain, etc.). A symbol next to the name of each wet body part is shown on the right. Wet skin makes the body cool off faster and can also make clothing wet. If you are dehydrated and in a hot climate, wearing clothes that have been soaked in water can be a good survival strategy.
- Dough and flatbread recipes added, giving flour an actual use.
Best regards,
Christian
